"Experience the Best Competition in HO Racing!" that was our tag line for the inaugural 2007 G3 Championships race. We believe that we delivered just that, here are some comments from racers from around the country:

The 2009 G3 National Championships dates have been secured and we are getting set for perhaps the best year so far. We've set the dates for the race to the first weekend of August and it looks to be a winner! We will be anouncing the racing classes very soon and then will get the rules posted for the race. Registration and it's various incentives will be open soon so watch your email for upcoming details. This year the Monterey Historic Races will feature Porsche as the honored racing manufacturer so for our G-Jet body class we will be doing the same. Your body for the G-Jet class and Coucours must be a Porsche, any era will be acceptable. We are looking forward to a great field.

The location will be the same as the last two years and it seems to work perfect for this Championship event. Make your commitments to attend and get your reservations now before summer prices go into effect.

Above is an image of this years Poster/Flyer, the Porsche 917 is this year's giveaway body. This year the bodies have been painted and mounted by one of HO's master painters and artists Greg Williams. The decals and decos were designed by Scale Auto's own Darcy d'Estrube, and they were applied by Gordon "Bunny" Wat over in Hawaii. Special thanks goes out to all three of these guys for their outstanding craftsmanship and generosity. These bodies will surely be a treasure to have. The mission of the G3 Championships is to promote good, clean, and competitive fun in the hobby/sport of HO scale slot racing. We want racers to know that they can come to the G3 National Championships and "Experience the Best Competition in HO Racing!"
